Ingredients

  • 1brown onion (approx 180g), cut in halves
  • 1 tablespoondried oregano
  • 100 gwalnuts
  • 90 grolled oats
  • 3Eggs
  • 150 gfeta cheese, cut into pieces (3cm)
  • 1 tablespoontamari or soy sauce
  • 50 gbreadcrumbs
  • 3 sheetsready Made puff pastry,slightly thawed
  • Milk for brushing
  • Sesame seeds for sprinkling (optional)

Steps

    Preheat oven to 200c. Line a baking tray with baking paper

  2. 2

    Place onion into processor and chop

  3. 3

    Add oregano, walnuts, rolled oats. Scrape down sides of processor bowl

  4. 4

    Add eggs, feta cheese, tamari or soy sauce and breadcrumbs, combine approx 20 sec

  5. 5

    Cut pastry sheet in half on a floured surface

  6. 6

    Place 1/6 of the mixture onto long edge. Roll pastry over and press with fork to seal.

  7. 7

    Brush pastry with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Continue until all pastry and mixture used.

  8. 8

    Bake 20 minutes 200c until golden brown. Serve warm. Enjoy
