Ingredients

30 mins

  • 1 Kilochillies chillies Red not dry
  • 400 GramsTamarind
  • 1/4 KiloSalt Crystal
  • 1 TeaspoonTurmeric powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoonhing
  • 1 LitreGround nut oil
  • 100 GramsGarlic
  • 1/2 Cupchilly Dry red pieces
  • 2 TablespoonsMustard
  • 2 TablespoonsBengal gram
  • 2 TablespoonsSaipappu (black gram layer removed)
  • 50 GramsFenugreek seeds

  1. 1

    Clean the red chillies with water and dry them on the cloth under the fan, after drying, clean them with cloth with out any wet.

  2. 2

    After that cut the red chillies in to pieces and grind them with salt and turn it in to a pickle jar and add the tamarind, turmeric powder to it and sock it for 24 hours.

  3. 3

    After socking mix the ingredients well and remove the tamarind seeds and other tamarind scrap.Roast the fenugreek seeds lightly and grind in a mixer jar.

  4. 4

    Add some ginger cloves to the red chilly paste and grind it again and turn it in to a large dry bowl.

  5. 5

    Heat the one liter oil and add dry red chilly pieces, bengal gram, saipappu,mustard,fenugreek seeds,garlic cloves, after fry add the hing and turn of the stove and cool the oil for room temperature.

  6. 6

    Add the fenugreek powder, turmeric powder to the pickle and mix well and lastly add the cooled oil and mix it well and turn in to the pickle jar and store it in a dry place.

  7. 7

    The pickle is very tasty with rice and idly, dosa also.

From childhood i like cooking very much, i have some own idea recipes and some from my mother, mother in law and some cooking recipes. I am only one child to my parents,so they pampering me very much, my mother not agreed to work or cook at home. But my interest in cooking could not stop me from my mother. I tried several recipes from my own ideas, after that my dad and mother appreciate me. After marriage my husband, mother in law, my children also enjoying my experiments in cooking and encouraging me very much.
