Chicken breasts stuffed with butter, garlic and fresh parsley! What's not to like? :)
Steps
- 1
Now, tightly wrap up this flavoured butter in clean-film, and put it in the fridge.
- 2
Now take the chicken breasts, and using a knife making a large pocket within each.
- 3
Take the butter out, and divide equally. Now stuff each breast with the butter. Use toothpicks to close the openings.
- 4
In three separate bowls, keep the flour, beaten egg, and crumbs.
- 5
Heat up oil in a non-stick pan.
- 6
Also, turn on the oven to 200 degree Celsius. This will allow it to preheat.
- 7
Now take each chicken piece, and first dip it into the flour. Immediately dip it into the beaten egg, and then coat it in crumbs.
- 8
Place the chicken breasts into the pan of hot oil. Fry on all sides to seal the chicken evenly. This should take about 5-6 minutes.
- 9
Once all the sides are golden in colour, place the pieces onto a baking tray.
- 10
Now bake this in the oven for about 20-25 minutes. You may flip the chicken pieces around after the first 10-15 minutes.
- 11
Once this is done, let the chicken rest for 6-8 minutes.
- 12
The chicken will be crisp on the outside, and juicy on the inside.
- 13
Serve immediately! Pair with boiled veggies and mashed potato.
- 14
When you cut open the chicken, the flavoured buttery sauce will flow out!
