  • 500 gramstaro root , peeled and sliced thin
  • 2 tablespoonscoconut oil
  • 2 teaspoonschilly powder (adjust)
  • 1/2 teaspoontumeric powder
  • 1 teaspooncoriander powder
  • to tastesalt
  • 1 teaspoonmustard seed
  • 2 numberschilles dried red
  • 10 numberscurry leaves

    In a pan heat oil and splutter mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves.

  2. 2

    Add the thinly sliced taro roots and the masalas.

  3. 3

    Add salt and fry.
