Bread Bonda
An evening snack which kids will love to munch on

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan & splutter the mustard.Add the onion,ginger & chillies choppedto this & saute.

Add the turmeric & saute till it starts to brown.Now add the chopped carrot,salt & some water to this & cover & cook till the carrot is cooked.

Now add the boiled potato mashed to this & blend well.Adjust salt.when all water dries up add the chopped corriander leaves.This is the filling. set this aside to cool.

Meanwhile remove the edges of bread. Take a piece & sprinkle some water over it. Press the bread between your palm to remove any excess water [without tearing the piece].

Now place a spoonful of cooled filling over the bread & bring the edges together & seal to resemble a ball.Repeat with remaining bread pieces.

Once all the balls are ready deep fry them 2-3 balls at a time in hot oil till golden.Drain on tissues & serve.
