Ingredients

6-cups
  • 15 ouncestomato sauce
  • 1 5 - ounces canstomato paste
  • 4bourbon whiskey Tbl
  • 2 - 3 Tbspsapple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  • 1/2 Tbspworcestershire
  • 1 tspliquid smoke
  • 1/4 tspsea salt black pepper each and ground
  • 1 tsponion powder
  • 1 tspgarlic powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Add all ingredients to a medium pot over medium heat and whisk

  2. 2

    Cook until starts to bubble (about 5 minutes) Then reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 15 more minutes.

  3. 3

    Transfer to a jar and let cool before putting lid on.

  4. 4

    Keep in fridge. Good for at least 2-3 weeks.

  5. 5

    Pair with Nikki's Veggie Burger and Sweet Potato Fries!
