Steps

Start by preparing Pappula podi. In a mixie jar add all the ingredients given under pappula podi table and grind into a coarse powder.

Take it into a bowl and keep aside.

In the same jar add largely chopped onions, red chilli powder and salt. Grind it into a smooth paste.

Heat a tawa, pour a laddle of dosa batter and spread it evenly in circular motion.

Add a spoon of erra karam paste.

Spread it evenly on the dosa and drizzle some oil. Let cook for a min.

Turn to the other side and cook for few seconds and turn it again.

Sprinkle pappula podi generously on the dosa.

Fold the dosa and serve it hot with coconut or peanut chutney.
