Steps
- 1
Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, green chillies, roasted gram and salt to a grinder jar. Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice.
- 2
Blitz everything to a smooth paste, adding a splash of water if needed. I added a few ice-cubes instead. It should be thick and not watery as it is used as a spread.
- 3
Taste and adjust salt or lemon juice as desired. That's it. It's all ready to be served.
- 4
Relish it with your favourite things. Store it in airtight containers and keep refrigerated. It stays good for a week or even a little more. Enjoy!
Tips
It can be made in large quantities and store in the freezer if desired. It's absolutely handy and a useful hack. And it stays good upto a week to almost about 10 days in a refrigerator.
