  • 3eggs beat well
  • 1 cupssugar
  • 3 tablespoonsmeltd butter
  • 1 teaspoonssalt
  • 1 cupsmilk
  • 31/2 cupsflour
  • 4 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 1 teaspoonsvanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoonsnutmeg

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat eggs

  2. 2

    Beat in sugar

  3. 3

    Stir in milk

  4. 4

    Ad sifted dry ingredients melted butter

  5. 5

    Roll out to a 1/4 inch thick

  6. 6

    Cut into doughnuts or drop by spoon full into hot oil.

  7. 7

    Cook for 2 to 3 minutes turning often.
