Potato Soufflé with Smoked Turkey

This is a relatively easy recipe that I found in an old magazine... As a student and a beginner in the kitchen, I can say the result was perfect!!

A few more secrets

We can also use heavy cream if we're short on time. You can also bake the potatoes in the oven in the same way, but the baking time will be 15-20 minutes longer depending on the oven. Buon appetito

Steps

60 Minutes
  1. 1

Wash the potatoes well with the skin on and place them on the microwave tray after piercing them with a knife in several places. Leave them for 10 minutes on high power.

  2. 2

Meanwhile, in a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add the minced onion and garlic. Stir for 3 minutes, then add the turkey cut into small squares. Stir for 2-3 minutes, then add the milk, along with the beaten egg and cornstarch. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, add pepper and a little salt.

  3. 3

Remove from heat, add 1 1/2 cups of cheese, and stir.

  4. 4

Peel the potatoes (they will be a bit hard and need a little more cooking).

  5. 5

Slice the potatoes and place them side by side in a greased baking dish, so that the entire bottom is covered.

  6. 6

Lightly salt the potatoes and pour the turkey mixture over them to cover the potatoes. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake at 340°F (170°C) until golden brown.
