Place the tangerines in the water from the previous day so most of their bitter taste is removed and then boil them twice discarding the water until you have tasted them and they are not bitter and you can pierce them with a fork.

Place them in a pot, add the sugar, lemon juice and water and boil until the syrup thickens.
