Grate the papaya and keep aside.

Make the sugar syrup. When done add a drop of green color not more than that. Keep aside.

Heat ghee in a pan, add the grated Papaya and fry till it looks like more than half cooked. Add grated mava and cook again for another 5 minutes on medium to low flame.

Add sugar syrup to the mixture and stir continuously till it's all well mixed. Let the syrup dry. Add Cardamom powder. Dry and saute well. Beautiful green colored halwa will be ready. Sprinkle slivered Almonds and serve warm
