Peppermint Syrup (5 Ingredients)

My brother loves peppermint. I made some for him. My family likes it as well. You can add hot or cold water, even soda, to this syrup. If you're into cocktails, you can use this syrup as well.
This recipe yields about 600-650 ml of syrup. You can increase or decrease the amount of mint. Bear in mind that the ratio for sugar and water for simple syrup is 1:1.

Every year my family ask me to make this, it everyone’s favorite for Christmas and the only candy they requested... this year I made 3 different kinds using different candy canes , I did the original, cherry , and red hots . I use 2 candy canes each ( I also used them in my hot chocoholic sticks ) you can crush the candy canes in a bag with a Rolling pin if you don’t have a food processor, crush them as chucking or fine . 🌈NinjaMommaKitchen🌈 -
