Ingredients

5 servings
  • 20fingers of Okro
  • 100 gskinned stock fish
  • 100 gbig prawn
  • 4red pepper
  • 100 gcrayfish
  • to tastesalt
  • 20 mlpalm oil
  • 3knorr seasoning cube
  • 100 gperiwinkle
  • 1small onions
  • 1/2 teaspoonuziza seed powder
  • 5 piecescow tail
  • 1medium sized yam

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash, season and boil the cow tail plus stock fish for 35mins

  2. 2

    Add palm oil, crayfish, pepper, salt, seasoning cubes and cook for 10mins

  3. 3

    Add uziza powder, prawn, periwinkle, chopped onions and cook for 15mins

  4. 4

    Add chopped Okro and stir well, turn off heat. Cover the pot tight so the Okro can soften. Soup is ready

  5. 5

    Cut, cook and pound yam for approximately 15mins
