Ingredients

  1. Ingredients for Manchurian pasta :
  2. 500 gPasta boiled
  3. For Manchurian sauce :
  4. 1: Capsicum chopped
  5. 1: Onion chopped
  6. 3 tbspGarlic
  7. 1 tbspGinger
  8. Coriander leaves a handfull
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. to tasteRed chilli powder
  11. to tasteBlack pepper powder
  12. 2 tspMustard seeds
  13. 1 tbspGreen chilli sauce
  14. 1 tbspSoya sauce
  15. 5-6 tbspor to taste Tomato ketchup
  16. 1 tbspVinegar white
  17. 4 tbspCornflour
  18. as neededWater to make the gravy
  19. Ingredients for Rice :
  20. 1 cupRice (any type)
  21. to tasteSalt
  22. 2-1/2 cupWater

    Method for manchurian pasta :

    Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds and let it splatter for a min.

  3. 3

    Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a few mins.

  4. 4

    Add onions and fry till golden. Now add capsicum and fry for few mins.

  5. 5

    Add salt, black pepper powder and red chilli powder and fry on high flame. Slow the flame. Add soya sauce, white vinegar, tomato ketchup and green chilli sauce, mix it well.

    Now add water to it and bring it to boil. Slow the flame. Now add boiled pasta and mix well. Boil it for 5 mins. Slow the flame.

    Now mix cornflour with water to a smooth paste.

    Add cornflour paste to the pasta gravy mix. Mix well and bring it to boil on high and cook till the sauce thickens.

  9. 9

    Add coriander leaves to it and mix well.

    Manchurian pasta is ready to serve.

    Method for rice :

    Clean and wash rice properly. Soak rice in water for 15 min. Drain it.

  13. 13

    In a pressure cooker add drained rice, salt and water. Close cooker with lid. Pressure cook for 1 whistle on high flame.

  14. 14

    Switch off the flame. Keep the cooker closed untill all the steam is released. Cool it.

  15. 15

    Take out the rice on the plate and serve hot with manchurian pasta.

  16. 16

    Serve hot.
