Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cupflour
  2. 1/4 cupbutter
  3. 1 cupwarm milk
  4. 1 cupshredded cheese

Cooking Instructions

    In saucepan, melt butter.

    Stir in flour.

  3. 3

    Slowly stir in milk

  4. 4

    Bring to slight boil

  5. 5

    Heat until thick. Stir constantly.

    When sauce is thickened (should stick to spoon but not be clumpy), add in cheese.

    Stir until cheese is melted and consistancy is as desired.

We really enjoyed the sauce. I added more cheese and cooked the roux longer to get rid of the flour taste.
