Stuffed jalapeno poppers

These are based off the Emeril recipe but with the addition of sausage and a hit every time I make them.

I was making Jalapeno Poppers for a party and thought wouldn't it be cool to stuff Jalapenos like we do peppers? This is the end result.

I have been slowly trying to perfect a Jalapeño Popper recipe that is easy to do and tastes great. The results so far are excellent. One note though, if you substitute low fat cream cheese the cream cheese mixture comes out slightly more dense from the oven.

Super easy appetizer/snack , filled with flavor and a kick of spice.I forgot to add the shredded cheese but they still came out amazing !

Easy and quick appetizer. You can add any type of flavor to the cream cheese to make it a little different. Try softening the cream cheese and blending in some avocado for the filling.

What to serve with jalapeno popper dip?Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced baguette. It is also really tasty with cut up veggies such as carrots and celery. I like to put out a tray of both so everyone has lots of options.
