combine all ingredients, in bowl, mix well and chill in fridge until ready to serve

batter mixture:

mix corn starch, flour, dry seasonings, until well blended

cut about 3/4 off top of onions & Peel.

cut into onions 12-16 vertical wedges, Don't cut through bottom root end.

remove about 1" of petals inside center of onions

dip each onion into seasoned flour, and remove excess by shaking.

separate petals and coat entire onion with batter.

gently, place in deep fry basket & fry @ 375-400° F. for 1 1/2 minutes

turn over, fry another 1 1/2 minutes. or until Golden brown. drain on paper towel.
