Ingredients

  1. 1 lbdried spaghetti
  2. 6 tbspunsalted butter
  3. 1/4 cupchopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  4. 2 1/4 cupgrated parmesan cheese
  5. 1 dashsalt
  6. 4 slicecrusty bread

Cooking Instructions

    Bring a large saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the pasta, and bring back to a boil. Cook pasta according to the package directions just until tender, but firm to the bite. Drain and transfer into a serving dish.

    Cut the butter into the hot pasta. Add parsley and half of the parmesan cheese. Toss the pasta using two forks until the butter and cheese has melted.

    Transfer to four warm serving bowls and serve asap with the remaining parmesan cheese and the crusty bread.
