Cake Pops

They were really nice, except I used dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate, which I don't like, but they were nice!! O:-)

They were really nice, except I used dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate, which I don't like, but they were nice!! O:-)
Steps
- 1
Bake a cake, any type.
- 2
Leave to completely cool.
- 3
Place the cake in a bowl and crumple it all up, kids will love this!! Mash it untill it's all crumbs.
- 4
Choose a flavour of frosting you like and add as much as you need until it becomes something of a dough again. Use anything you like, butter cream, ganache even plain icing will do the trick!!
- 5
Use a spoon or ice-cream scoop to scoop out little balls of the mixture, roll them between your palms until they're as close to spheres as they can get!!
- 6
Place each ball onto some greaseproof paper and put them into the freezer for about 10 minutes until they're firm.
- 7
Melt some chocolate, milk, white or dark.
- 8
Dip the lollipop stick or straw into the chocolate and insert about half way into each of the balls.
- 9
Dip each ball into the chocolate,
- 10
Set aside to completely cool until the chocolate hardens.
- 11
Dip into the chocolate once again to make sure they're complety covered.
- 12
Top with sprinkles or other sweet delights, a good idea is to pipe a design with buttercream onto the balls, experiment a lot with these!!
