Wash the rice and cook it in 4 cup water along with peas, carrot, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice. When the rice gets 3/4 cooked, drain the water in a rice drainer, keep aside. Boil soy badi for 3-4 minutes, squeeze the water and keep aside.

Heat the oil/ghee in a nonstick pan. Add cumin seeds, cardamom both, cloves, bay leaves, when they crackle, add cabbage and capsicum and cook stirring for 3-4 minutes. Add boiled rice with veggies and soy badi, garam masala and salt to taste
