mixing egg and milk togther. in another bowl mix the rest of ingredient togther

now slice 1 inch off the top and bottom of the onion and remove the papery skin. then cut out the core of the onion. use a very sharp knife to slice onion several times down the center to create "petals" keep slicing until onion has been cut 16 times.

spread the petals of the onion apart. to help keep them apart you could plunge the onion into boiling water for 1 minute and then into cold water.

dip onion into the milk mixure and then coat it with flour mixture make sure it's well coated.

heat oil in deep fryer make sure you use enough oil to compltely cover the onion when it fries.

fry the onion right side up in oil for 10 minutes or until it turns brown. when done remove and drain on paper towel.
