Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 tspolive oil
  • 3 clovegarlic, minced
  • 1 lbskinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into bite sizes
  • 1 tspAsian fish sauce
  • 3 tbspoyster sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbspsugar
  • 1/2 tspred chile paste, or to taste
  • 1 tbspchicken bouillon
  • 1/4 cupfresh ginger roots, julienned
  • 3/4 cupmushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 1 tbspcornstarch
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper
  • 2 tbspfresh cilantro leaves, chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in the garlic and chicken; cook for 2 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add the fish sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, chili paste, chicken bouillon and ginger. Cook and stir until the chicken is no longer pink, about 3 minutes. Add mushrooms to the chicken mixture.

  3. 3

    Pour in the cornstarch and stir until it thickens.

  4. 4

    Season with black pepper and sprinkle with cilantro leaves to garnish.

  5. 5

    Serve with Jasmine rice.
