One way to chop an onion
This is how I do it
Open in Cookpad AppSteps

Peel the onion cut the top and bottom of onion off from cut to cut cut through outer peeling then peel it back

Slice not through stop just a bit before the end of making small squares then turn onion on side slce across the other cuts from the side carefully when done chop up the small bit that wasn't cut through
