  1. 2 1/2 lbpotatoes
  2. garlic powder
  3. 1 tspsalt
  4. 4 ozshredded cheddar cheese
  5. 4 ozdiced green chilies
  6. 1 cupmilk
  7. 3 tbspbutter

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel and cut potatoes into 1 inch cubes.

    Add to a pot covering with water at least 1 inch above potatoes.

  3. 3

    Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook for 10 minutes or until fork tender.

    Drain and return to pot.

  5. 5

    Stir in milk, butter, & garlic powder. Mash until smooth.

  6. 6

    Stir in cheese, chilies, & salt.
