I'm a hot tea drinker fanatic, but every now and then on rainy days like today, I like to try something different: chai lattes are perfect for a cold day.

A quick fix for your matcha drink craving. Tastes exactly like what you get from that famous coffee shop in the comfort of your home.

Its kinda like a Chai latte but with out the caffeine since it's made with herbal tea instead of black tea. It's a relaxing delicious drink.

Green Tea Latte

This was a popular drink at the cafe I used to work at. We used a restaurant-grade steamer, but it's easy to recreate the taste at home using a microwave.If the tea is weak, it won't have much taste, so the key is to make strong tea.Adjust the amount of condensed milk to your liking. I developed this mix recipe more than a decade ago for my granddaughter Bree, who's a Chai lover. Recently, my granddaughter Dellaney requested the recipe, and I realized I'd never added it to my Cookpad collection. So here it is so all my grands and great-grands can always find and enjoy it. This makes about 6 cups of Chai mix. I've also used this mix, packaged cutely with a fun mug, for gifting.
