Steps
- 1
Mix safran and one tablespoon of sugar. Crush the sarfan into the sugar.
- 2
Add 1/4 a cup of boiling water to the safran sugar mix. Mix well.
- 3
Start to boil water in a pot.
- 4
Meanwhile, put the flour in a pan on medium/high heat. Stir constantly.
- 5
Once the water in the pot has boiled, add remaining sugar, sarfan mix, and rose water. Stir constantly until everything is thoroughly mixed. Then turn off heat.
- 6
Once flour is golden in pan, add canola oil and mix well.
- 7
VERY CAREFULLY add the pot mixture to the pan.
- 8
Mix well and keep pan moving by giggling it around in the air.
- 9
Once completely mixed, put on plant and flatten. Either serve hot, or cool it in the fridge and serve cooled.
