Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 lbground beef
  2. 36 ozbeef broth
  3. 6 tbspbutter
  4. 8 ozwarm water
  5. 12 ozmixed vegetables
  6. 8 ozditalini pasta (or any small pasta or rice)
  7. 2 tbspthyme
  8. 2 tbspground mustard
  9. 2 tbspcelery salt
  10. 2 tbsplemon pepper
  11. 2 tbsphorseradish
  12. 2 tbspground cumin
  13. 2 tbspground ginger
  14. 1 tbspturmeric
  15. salt
  16. ground black pepper
  17. 2 ozshredded monterey cheese
  18. 4 ozshredded cheddar jack cheese
  19. 2 ozshredded mozarella
  20. 2 ozmexican crema or sour cream
  21. all-purpose flour

Cooking Instructions

    Brown ground beef with 1/2 of all seasoning, drain grease.

    Add warm water, beef broth and remaining seasoning to cooked beef. Bring to a boil.

    Add pasta and frozen vegetables and cook on low boil for 12-15 minutes.

    In a small pan melt butter and add flour. Add as much flour as it takes to soak up all the butter and then add to soup. Boil for 2-5 minutes. If the soup is not thick enough repeat with 1/2 amount of butter.

    Add cheese and creama and cook on low for 5 minutes.

Salty. Use no salt broth! Delicious and very hearty - more like a stew!
