Ingredients

  • dry
  • 4 1/2 cupunbleached all purpose flour
  • 1 tbspsugar
  • 1 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1 tspgranulated garlic
  • 1 packagesrapid rise yeast
  • liquid
  • 1egg
  • 12 ozAle -room temperature
  • 1/8 cupolive oil
  • 1/3 cuphalf and half
  • filling
  • 13 ozdiced cheese
  • 1 tbspminced garlic
  • 3/4 cupsliced jared jalapeños
  • 2 tbspjalapeño liquid from jar

Steps

  1. 1

    Make sure your house is at least 70°F

  2. 2

    Add all the dry ingredients, keeping the yeast and salt separate until mixed.

  3. 3

    Add all the liquids and mix about 9 minutes on speed 2.

    Form into 2 ball and let proof until doubled in size.

    Roll out flat and add filling.

    Chop and incorporate.

    Separate into 2 pieces and put in greased or lined pans.

  8. 8

    Proof until doubled in size. 2 batches in picture.

    Bake at 380°F until mixed golden brown and yellow.

If using a cheaper brand of flavor you may need to increase the flour by 1/4 to 1/2 cup.
