1 lbGround beef
1/2 cupChopped onion
4 cupChopped cabbage
2 canKidney beans 16oz each (dark or light)
1 canBeef broth 15 oz
1 canCrushed tomatoes 14 oz
1/2 tspDried basil
1/2 tspDried thyme
1/2 tspSalt
1/4 tspBlack pepper

Cook beef with chopped onions. Drain and return to pot.

Add the remaining ingredients to the beef and onion. Mix together.

Cover and cook at medium heat for 30 minutes, stir occasionally.
