I wanted a different flavor for chicken sweet and spicy ( but not to spicy). I hate frying food so this makes me happier about it. Its a great taste and all the family loves it, even my 3 yr old!

I wanted a different flavor for chicken sweet and spicy ( but not to spicy). I hate frying food so this makes me happier about it. Its a great taste and all the family loves it, even my 3 yr old!

Ingredients

  1. 1 packageschicken legs
  2. 2 cupall-purpose flour
  3. 1/3 cuphoney
  4. 1 packagesfrench onion dip
  5. 1 tspsalt
  6. 1 tspblack pepper
  7. 1/2 tspcrushed red pepper
  8. 1 tsponion powder
  9. 1 tspgarlic powder
  10. 3 tbspbutter
  11. 1 cupvegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400 and put about 1 cup of veg oil in pan and butter.

    Rinse chicken in cold water

  3. 3

    Mix flour, pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, French onion dip and crushes red pepper together and put in a gallon size ziploc and shake.

    Put chicken in bag and shake one piece at a time works best.

  5. 5

    After you have battered each piece rub honey on each piece generously.

  6. 6

    One at a time re batter the chicken.

  7. 7

    Put chicken in oven and bake for about 60 min. Flipping chicken ever 10 min or so until done. Time depending on size of chicken legs.
