I often make simmered chicken and vegetables in tomato sauce, but today I had a lot of cabbage leftover so I tried making a simple cabbage and chicken dish.If you prefer very soft cabbage, steam for a little bit longer before adding the tomatoes.If you don't have diced tomatoes, you can use canned whole tomatoes. These easy cabbage Rolls are made with cabbage leaves filled with ground beef and rice, with tomato sauce.

Just a mixture cabbage and potatoes have been going together since Colcannon was first made. This is a good meal to end winter with. The flowers are blooming and birds singing so the 2 weeks of winter are over here in Florida.

I've never made cabbage rolls before. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever eaten cabbage rolls before. But the wife asked for them, and since I'm not the type to pass up a cooking challenge, I gave it a try. She said they were good, and I liked them too, so I'll count this as a success.
