I got tired of the store bought dough not turning out like I expected, so I experimented until I found what I believe is the perfect chocolate chip cookie! Quick, easy, and delicious!

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  2. 1/2 cupgranulated sugar
  3. 1/2 cupsoftened unsalted butter
  4. 2eggs
  5. 2 1/2 tspvanilla extract
  6. 2 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  7. 1 1/4 tspbaking soda
  8. 1 tspsalt
  9. 2 1/2 cupsemi sweet chocolate chips

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Using a mixer or spoon, mix together thoroughly butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.

    Once combined, thoroughly mix in eggs and vanilla.

    Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix completely.

  4. 4

    Fold in semi sweet chocolate chips.

  5. 5

    Drop mounds the size of 1/4 cup (don't pack mixture when measuring) onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9 -11 mins. Cool 2-3 mins before removing from cookie sheet. These are great warm or room temp. Enjoy!
