Ingredients

  • 2 tspfresh thyme, minced
  • 2 tspfresh rosemary, minced
  • 2 tspfresh sage, minced
  • 1/4 tsppepper
  • 3 tbspolive oil
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • 2garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 slicehearty white sandwich bread, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (about 4 cups)

Steps

  1. 1

    Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    Whisk garlic, salt, oil, thyme, rosemary, pepper and sage together in a large bowl.

  3. 3

    Add bread cubes and toss until coated.

  4. 4

    Spread bread on baking sheet and bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.

  5. 5

    Cool before serving.

  6. 6

    *You can also substitute 1/2 teaspoon of each dried herb if you don't have fresh thyme, rosemary, and sage.*

  7. 7

    **Makes about 4 cups.**

  8. 8

    ***These can be stored in an airtight container for about 1 week.***

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
