Cream butter and sugar until light coloured and fluffy

beat in molasses and eggs

In another bowl combine flour, salt, soda, ginger, cloves and cinnamon. Whisk together

Gradually mix flour mixture into creamed ingredients until blended and smooth

Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls

Dip tops into granulated sugar

Placed into greased cookie sheet. Bake at 180°C for ten mins

Cool on wire rack

When cooled, dip cookie into melted chocolate

Place on waxed paper after dipping until cooled and chocolate is set
