Ingredients

15 mins
8 servings
  1. 6lemons
  2. 2limes
  3. 130 mlagave nectar or 200g sugar
  4. 2 litreshot water
  5. 1 slicelemon & lime and ice cubes to garnish

Cooking Instructions

15 mins
  1. 1

Peel the skin from the lemons & limes with a vegetable peeler and put the peelings into a 2 litre jug

  2. 2

Squeeze the juice from the lemons and limes straight into the jug with the agave nectar. Don't worry about the seeds going in, we'll strain it later

  3. 3

Fill the jug with boiling water and stir well. This is only to draw out the essence from the peel. If you were just using the juice you could add the water cold

  4. 4

Cover and allow to cool at room temperature then chill for 2 hours before serving. Taste while cooling and adjust sweetness if required

  5. 5

Strain the drink into another jug

  6. 6

Add some ice and lemon/lime slices to your serving glasses and pour the lemon & limeade over
