Ingredients

  • 1 cupFinely chopped onion
  • 1 cupChopped celery with leaves
  • 2/3 cupButter
  • 6 cupSoft bread cubed or dry stuffing bread cubed
  • 1 tspSalt
  • seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tspDried sage leaves
  • 1 tspDried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tspPepper
  • 1OR 1 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Steps

15 mins
  1. 1

    Cook onion and celery in 10-inch skillet until onion is tender

  2. 2

    Stir in 1/3 of the bread cubes

  3. 3

    Add remaining ingredients and stir

  4. 4

    Put in oven at 325° for 20-25 minutes

It tastes awesome. We here in India call it "bread poha". We add other veggies too like tomato and green pepper.
