About 30 years ago an elderly church friend of mine gave me this tip. Since then I have not had to do the messy greasing/flouring of pans and cake/cornbread/similar baked goods never stick and cleaning the pans is effortless.

About 30 years ago an elderly church friend of mine gave me this tip. Since then I have not had to do the messy greasing/flouring of pans and cake/cornbread/similar baked goods never stick and cleaning the pans is effortless.
Cooking Instructions

Cream the shortening and oil together until creamy.

Mix in flour, combine until creamy.
- 3
Spoon into a clean jar with lid for storage.
- 4
When baking, use a pastry brush to paint a thin layer of pan coating onto pans. pour in batter as usual and bake. Baked goods will release easily from pans after baking. Wash up will also be easy.

I have kept this in refrigerator for many months, but it mostly runs out in a month or so and I have to make more!

After making this recipe several times, I came up with this process that works well.I wanted to make the process easy and to have few dishes to wash, so I made this.Things to use are only 2 heatproof bowls, hand mixer (and whisk).I whipped up the eggs without separating and made the process easier. Anyway, just whip it up until it is foamy and thick.If you whip it up thickly even after adding the chocolate, it will be more difficult for the cake to shrink even when it is cold.There are no flours or baking powder in it, so it won't raise so much. Made this few week ago we frozen the slices and had 60g each every Saturday and Sunday with ice cream. This time I used butter instead of margarine and added 1 egg plus used large instead of medium. This cake is soft with crunchy top and sides. And everyone who tried it had it eat whole portion in 1 go as apposed to wanting to save some. Irmgard Gater
