Family favorite whenever anyone is not feeling well or on a cold winter night it warms the soul.

Bring chicken stock, celery, garlic, onion, bay leaves, thyme sprigs, red pepper and a pinch of black pepper to a boil.

Then after it boils for about 15 minutes add your carrots & potatoes & chicken. Simmer for about 20 minutes.

Then add your peas & orzo pasta. Simmer for another 10 minutes.

In a bowl mix your flour, sugar, pinch of salt & pepper and half of your chopped parsley. Slowly add the water while mixing until a stiff dough appears.

From your dough form small round balls and drop them into the simmering soup.

Keep stiring so they do not stick to the bottom of your pot.

Once all the dumpl'n are in the pot add the rest of your parsley, pepper and salt. Simmer for another 10 - 12 minutes. Stirring often.
