Unstuffed peppers (healthy)

In large skillet brown turkey, crushed and chopped garlic, and sliced onion. Add small amount of salt and pepper.

After cooking the meat, garlic, and onion about 10 minutes add sliced peppers and cook additional 10 minutes or until turkey has browned lightly. Add oregano and Italian seasoning.

In large measuring cup mix tomato paste and 3 cups hot water till smooth. Add to the meat mixture and cook additional hour on medium/low stirring occasionally. The liquid will decrease, more may be added if you want.

Taste to see if salt and pepper need to be added. Serve over prepared brown rice.
