Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1/2large butternut squash
  2. 1pouch maple brown sugar instant oatmeal
  3. 1/2 cupdark brown sugar
  4. 1 tbspor to taste pumpkin pie spice..I used a hint more I like a lot
  5. 1/3or more cup raisins (optional)
  6. 1You can add some agave if it's not sweet enough I added added a bit and tasted it until I thought it was sweet enough

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut a large butter nut squash in half length wise..dig out seeds and mush

  2. 2

    Use a veggie peeler to remove skin and cut squash in 1 inch pieces

  3. 3

    Boil pieces for about 30 minutes or until squash is fork tender like if you were making some mashed potatoes

  4. 4

    Drain squash and add everything in and mash it up..

  5. 5

    Serve hot or chilled both are awesome
