
Lemon Parmesan Steamed Veggies

Place a medium saucepan filled with water to a depth of 1 inch over high heat.

Cover the pan and bring the water to a boil.

Add the vegetables and salt.

Reduce the heat to low, re-cover the pan, and let the vegetables steam until they are bright in color and just tender about 3 to 4 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat.

Drain off the water and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and lemon zest over the top.

Season with pepper to taste.

Toss the vegetables and serve immediately.

*If you don't have a lemon in the house, you can use lemon pepper seasoning instead.*
