Spicy Beef Curry lettuce wraps

Great for something a little bit different at the start of your day!

When you are looking for something spicy and light these are delicious. You can add chicken or shrimp if you want a heartier meal. I did not add a sauce but you can add anything your heart desires!

Trying to cut back on carbs, sugar and even sodium. I also like to use all of my bi-weekly organic share! I was cravings tacos but wanted to skip the tortillas.

You know those foods you can’t stop eating and don’t know why they just taste so good.. This qualifies as one of those things..Very addicting, so tasty we eat them twice a week..!It’s more and app than an entrée but thats up to you, and how you pair it..Enjoy them, my house does, now yours can too!

I wanted to create something that my friends and family could eat on the go, that was an alternative to fastfood, while everyone would be able to adjust it to their liking and being very healthy at the same time. This sounded just like the challenge I needed.

Sometimes I’ll pick up awkward cuts of meat… if it looks good. Have I ever bought beef shin? Hell no. But, it looks respectable enough to try… reasonably priced enough too.

Cool crisp lettuce leaves hold hot spicy, juicy chicken strips drizzled with cool ranch dressing. A great lunch or appetizer .

I love anything curry but specially my curry beef ...this beef is full of flavor and can go over white rice or you can eat it in a roti wrap which is my favotite ! Enjoy

In case it's not obvious from the fact that I've now posted two recipes for it, I love Indian-spiced beef curry. Something about the combination of warm spices, sweet coconut milk, and tender meat really gets my engine revving. This version is much quicker than the previous one (no marinating required). It also has a slightly deeper flavour, thanks to the addition of garam masala and cumin. Differences aside, I love them both and would happily eat either any day.

I had a bunch of chrysanthemum greens that were harvested in the countryside. It's so easy and yet fancy. A magic recipe that makes this simple recipe look so complicated. Also good to pack in bentos.Nothing really - it's so simple. Sprinkling soy sauce on the chrysanthemum greens and maitake on Step 1 improves and sharpens the taste. You could use spinach instead. I wanted to make a baked dish that would go well with beer.After rubbing the marinade into the chicken, you can freeze it just like that. Let it defrost naturally and then continue on with the recipe.When scraping off the paste, lightly scrape it off the more fleshy areas.
