Cooking Instructions

SPICY BUTTER

melt butter then add fine chili powder and quick mix well then off heat

PAN FRY HAM

quick pan fry ham for half a minute on each side then set aside

BAKE BREAD

slice a loaf into half then cut a square in the bread
- 7
put 1 slice of chedder cheese then add 1 eggs fisrt and broil it
- 8
add another egg and broil till egg white set
- 9
cut a square hole in an aluminium foil snd covrr the top if the top of bread burn to quickly

ADD CHEESE

once egg white are set then top mix cheese and top chedder cheese then bake it till cheese melted

TO SERVE

add pan fry ham on bread and top spicy butter

SLICE INTO HALF

slice bread into half and serve with extra shreded red cabbage

Oh... my... goodness. This is good.I almost made French toast but I poured the egg and milk over the bread and cooked it in the oven instead. English toasting bread surely is the best bread to use, but I’m always looking for it and rarely find it. I can’t say this would be nearly as good with just any old bread. It’s so good that buttermilk is not in this recipe which is insane for me.My kids didn’t even ask for a drizzle of honey.

Bread in an Afternoon Bread in an Afternoon
I kept trying out no-knead recipes but they didn't work for me. I don't know why, still. And then came the day I was broke, no bread but I sure had plenty of bread flour! And yeast. I also had a bread recipe for a quick French bread, butt it required 3 1/2c of flour for 2 loaves of bread! I wanted a round loaf and quick results, with minimal kneading and pretty much what the no-knead recipes did: one pot convenience with a beautiful result! Can beggars be choosers?! I think they can! Try this recipe and let me know! It takes a total of 3 hrs, NO more!
