Ingredients

  1. 1 canblack beans
  2. 1 bunchgreen onions; sliced
  3. 1yellow or red onion; small dice
  4. 1 clovegarlic; minced
  5. 2 tbspsmoked paprika
  6. 1 tspcayenne pepper
  7. 1 tspcumin
  8. 1/2 tspcinnamon
  9. 1 1/2 tbspOlive or veggie oil
  10. 1salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Drain and rinse beans.

  2. 2

    Sweat onion in saute pan. Add garlic.

  3. 3

    Add beans. Season and toss. Saute 1 minute

  4. 4

    Add green onions. Toss. Serve

  5. 5

    Variations: Bacon fat, corn, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice/zest, chipotle salsa, tomato puree, bell peppers, squash, eggplant
