Cream butter; add sugars gradually. Blend in eggs and beat well. Sift flour, baking powder, soda,and salt; add to creamed mixture, then add vanilla, oatmeal, cereal, and coconut. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased baking sheet. Do not beat the cereal or coconut- just stir! Bake 12-15 minutes at 350°F.
