Ingredients

  1. 1/4 tspdesi ghee
  2. 1 clovelaung
  3. 1 tspcoarsely crushed pepper (kalimirch)
  4. 1 tspfinely chopped ginger (adrak)
  5. 5 leavesbasil (indian basil)
  6. 1 tspsugar/jaggery
  7. 2 cupswater

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the ghee in a saucepan, add clove, black pepper, ginger, tulsi and saute on a medium flame for few seconds.

  2. 2

    Add 2 cups of water and sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 20 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    Strain the mixture in glass and serve immediately.
