preheat oven to 350'

peel off any damaged layers

trim the stem to make it flush

quarter each sprout and score each stem 1/4" deep with an X

saute Bacon in the butter over med heat for2 min's

add garlic & sprouts & stir continously for 2-3 min's

add the flour and continue stirring for 2 min's

add the cream,half n half, and sherry

bring the liquid to a simmer

reduce the heat & continue simmering for 7 min' s or until the liquid has reduced by 1/3

stir In the 1 cup parmesson cheese,nutmeg,salt&pepper

put in casserole dish

cover with remaining parm cheese

cover with foil and bake for 25 min's

serve immediately
