Steps

Heat oil in a pan add Moong Dal and fry.add mustard seed hing and onions and fry well.saute till onion gets pinkish.

Add garlic and saute well. Add coriander powder and brinjals(give cut from above into four) fry well and cover. Cook till brinjals change colour and turns soft.

Add poppy seeds and clove and cinnamon and fry.

After few mins add jaggery salt and curd. Stirr continuesly.

Add sesame coconut chillie powder turmeric powder and saute well.

Cook for a few minutes while covering add Imli pulp with enough water and stirr. Keep covered.

Let it simmer for next 10 mins on slow flame with lid on.

When done sprinkle chopped coriander. Serve hot with chapati or bhakri.
