
cream of veg soup with Bacon lardons

Steps

chop all the veg into small squares
- 2
put a spoonfull of lurpak into a pan and fry the smoked lardons until golden n crispy..unless you like fatty Bacon

add the onion and clove of garlic and leek into pan with crispy bacon lardons, add abit more lurpak or olive oil

fry these ingredients until cooked and golden

boil kettle, put two chicken stock cubes or vegetable stock cubes into large jug of hot water

add the rest of the veg to pan of ingredients ( you can always add other veg if u wish or meat)

add stock to pan of bacon and veg and let simmer for twenty minutes

season to taste with ingredients

keep tasting the soup to your preferred taste

chop the veg into smaller peice,s whilst cooking to help cook quicker or if u want a smooth soup get the blender out

add half a carton of single cream to soup...I slowly added the cream until I got the desired taste and texture

cook a little bit longer n remeber to taste

preheat oven to 200 c or gas mark 6

put bread rolls in for ten minutes

butter bread rolls whilst hot...Yum Yum

serve soup into bowls and serve with hot crusty rolls...heaven

the best soup I,ve ever tasted....even my husband said sooo def gonna make more was lovley esp with it being winter and the wind and rain is blowing and the snow is forecast tomorrow brrr
